How is the firewood measured?
In New Zealand, firewood is measured by volume in cubic metres using thrown measure. This means that firewood is thrown into the trailer rather then tightly stacked in. This is the standard New Zealand industry practice.
What wood species should I choose?
Oregon is a great reliable all-rounder that lights easily. Blue Gum is a dense hardwood that burns hot and long once established, while Pine is excellent for quick heat and getting fires started. We stock mainly oregon as we consider this the best all round firewood for New Zealand conditions.

How should I store my firewood?
We deliver directly to homes, farms, and lifestyle blocks throughout Timaru, Geraldine, Fairlie, Temuka, and surrounding South Canterbury areas. We will coordinate a specific delivery date when we confirm your order.
There is no payment facility on our website. Rather we email you the invoice to pay (usually via internet banking) following confirmation of your order and prior to delivery.
Dry firewood can be stacked in a dry, ventilated shed or stacked off the ground with a cover over the top. If you have ordered semi-dry wood, allow for extra time to dry before winter.
